Part 1

She’d fallen asleep hours ago, curled on her side, trusting he would come to her whenever he was ready. They’d talked about this—how she wanted him to wake her, how the edge between sleep and awareness made everything feel sharper, sweeter. The quiet was almost a permission of its own.

The door opened without sound. He moved toward the bed with that slow, deliberate confidence she knew so well. The mattress dipped under his weight as he slid in behind her, his warmth gathering around her like a shadow.

His hand found her throat gently, possessively—not squeezing, just claiming. Her breath hitched, the familiar signal that she was awake and remembering everything they’d agreed to. She didn’t pull away; she never did. Instead, she tipped her chin up for him, offering herself in that soft, sleepy way he loved.

Her eyes fluttered open, meeting his.

He smiled—quiet, dark, tender.
“Good girl,” he murmured. “Look at me.”

And she did, fully awake now, her pulse beating against his fingers in trust.

His fingers tightened just enough for her to feel the promise in them—not pressure, but control. A reminder. A claim. Her pulse fluttered against his palm, and the way she breathed for him… he felt it like a response carved just for him.

“Good girl,” he murmured, his voice a low drag against the quiet room. “You wake so beautifully for me.”

Heat swept through her sleep-heavy limbs, a slow, helpless surrender she never tried to hide. She shifted under him, not to pull away but to offer more of her throat, more of herself. It was an instinct at this point—one they’d built together, one she craved as much as he did.

He leaned in, brushing his lips against her cheek, soft at first, then firmer—like he was marking the shape of her.
“You remember what you asked for,” he breathed. Not a question. A confirmation. A thread binds them both.

Her whisper was faint but certain. “Yes.”

That single word lit something sharp and possessive behind his eyes. He slid his other arm beneath her, pulling her back against his chest, holding her as if he owned every inch of her body and every shallow breath she drew.

“That’s right,” he said, voice darkened now, pleased. “You’re mine to wake. Mine to touch. Mine to take apart… exactly how you begged me to.”

The confession made her shiver, a soft tremor he felt instantly. He smiled against her skin, slowly and with satisfaction.

“Look at me,” he commanded again, but this time the edge in his tone was unmistakable—gentle, yes, but unyielding.

She lifted her gaze to him, wide awake now, heart thundering in a rhythm he controlled as easily as the hand at her throat.

“There you are,” he said, eyes locked onto hers. “My girl.”

Her breath came quicker now, not from fear but from recognition—from knowing that look in his eyes, the one that said he was fully in control and fully aware of how much she wanted it.

He shifted closer, his body aligning with hers, his presence enveloping her. The hand at her throat guided her gently but decisively, tilting her chin the way he liked. His thumb traced the line of her pulse, slow and deliberate, as if savoring the feel of her responding to him.

“You’re trembling,” he whispered, his lips brushing the corner of her mouth. “Are you offering me that… or are you trying to hide it?”

She swallowed, the movement subtle against his palm. “Offering,” she breathed. It wasn’t just an answer—it was a confession.

His smile darkened with approval. “Good.”
He pressed his forehead to hers, their breaths catching between them, warm and uneven. “I want your whole body telling me yes. Not just your words.”

Her fingers curled in the sheet, a helpless reaction she couldn’t control. He noticed immediately, and the soft laugh he gave vibrated against her skin.

“That’s better,” he murmured. “That’s the honesty I want from you.”

His hand moved from her throat to her jaw, thumb stroking beneath her lower lip. He tilted her face up, making her hold his gaze—unblinking, exposed, claimed.

“You trust me with this,” he said, not asking, but asserting the truth that lived between them. “You want me to take from you what you offer. To guide every breath, every shiver.”
His voice dropped lower, rougher, intimate. “And you want to give it to me, don’t you?”

Her answer came out as a whisper, shaky but certain. “Yes. All of it.”

The satisfaction that flickered in his eyes was almost palpable. He cupped the back of her neck, drawing her closer, his grip firm—possessive in a way that felt like home.

“Then listen carefully,” he said, his mouth brushing her ear, his tone velvet and steel. “Tonight, I’m not just waking you.”
His words poured over her, slow and deliberate. “I’m taking my time with you. I’m deciding how you move, how you respond, how you come apart for me. And you…”
He nuzzled her jaw, inhaled the soft warmth of her skin. “…you’re going to follow every direction I give you.”

Her breath hitched—sharp, involuntary, impossible to hide.

“There it is,” he murmured, pleased. “That’s what I was waiting for.”

He pulled back just enough to look into her eyes again, his hand still controlling the angle of her face.

“I have plans for you,” he said softly, the promise in his voice sending another tremor through her. “And you’re going to let me take you exactly where you asked me to.”

His thumb brushed her cheek, gentle—devoted, even—contrasting the intensity beneath his words.

“Tell me you’re ready.”

Her heartbeat fluttered beneath his fingers as she met his gaze—wide awake now, fully present, and undeniably his. He felt her trust like a steady pulse under everything, grounding him even as desire darkened the edges of his restraint.

“Tell me you’re ready,” he said again, quieter this time, but sharper—like the words themselves were a hand around her pulse.

She nodded, breath catching. “I’m ready.”

His eyes softened for only a moment, as if that answer reached a part of him he rarely let anyone see. Then the softness shifted back into something deliberate, controlled, focused entirely on her.

“Good.”
His thumb brushed the hollow of her throat, the touch tender and claiming all at once. “Because I’m going to take my time tonight. I want every second to mean something.”

He leaned in, brushing a slow kiss at the corner of her jaw—nothing rushed, nothing careless. A promise. A starting point.

Her breath stuttered, her body tensing in the sweet, anticipatory way he recognized instantly. He slid his hand from her throat to the back of her neck, guiding her closer. His touch wasn’t rough—just firm enough to leave no question about who was leading this moment.

“You feel that?” he murmured against her skin. “That little shiver right there?”
His fingertips traced the place it rippled down her spine.
“That’s mine. That belongs to me.”

She exhaled shakily, her hand rising to rest against his chest—not to push him away, but as if she needed the contact to steady herself.

He caught her wrist gently, bringing her hand up to his mouth. He kissed her palm slowly, then pressed it flat over the steady beat of his heart.

“I always give you this,” he said. “All of me. Even the parts you don’t realize you already hold.”

Her eyes widened at that—at the honesty in it. He saw the way it struck her, saw the flush rise in her cheeks, and something inside him tightened with a fierce, protective pull.

His voice dropped to a low rumble.
“And now you’re going to give me something back.”

Her breathing hitched. “W-what do you want?”

He chuckled softly—a warm sound, but heavy with intention.
“Everything you hide from me when you’re awake.”
He tilted her chin again, making her look at him fully.
“Every thought. Every reaction. Every fear you trust me with. Tonight, I want all of it.”

She swallowed hard, her pulse racing under his fingertips.

“I trust you,” she whispered.

He closed his eyes briefly, as if steadying himself, then opened them with a gaze that felt like it pinned her to the moment.

“I know,” he murmured. “And that’s why I’m going to take such good care of you.”

He drew her across the mattress and into his body, settling her exactly where he wanted her, his hands guiding her with a certainty that made her melt into him.

“Now,” he whispered against her temple, “I’m going to tell you what I want from you next.”
